A commitment device, not a badge. State a name, read what you are committing to, and receive a verifiable seal computed over the text of the manifesto.
What you are committing to
I hold that security is a practice of character before it is a checklist.
I will act with integrity when no control would catch me; grant others only the access their duty demands; and treat the people my systems serve as the point of the work, not an obstacle to it.
I will speak plainly about risk and about my own mistakes, keep faith with those who depend on me, and defend what is worth defending.
I will let go of the tool, the belief, or the process that the evidence no longer supports.
This is a personal commitment to a standard of practice. It binds no employer and grants no certification.
About the seal
Sealing computes a SHA-256 hash of a fixed string built from your display name, the exact second you sealed, and the manifesto version. The hash is recomputed on the server and rejected if it does not match. Anyone can reproduce it later on the verify page — the seal is a claim you can personally check, not a decoration.

The pledge is not open yet. It opens once a moderation process is in place for the names people submit.
